Bare root rhizomes should be planted in sandy loam with a moderate pH. 

Cascade variety is a dual purpose plant, one of the most popular hop varieties with moderate alpha acid levels (4.5-7%), with excellent botanical/spicy/citrus aroma. (zone 3-8)
